MFT Portfolio

Thank you for visiting my MFT graduate portfolio. I am a recent graduate from Argosy University, with an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist license, active since February 20, 2013. My license reference number is 347625-3904. You can learn a lot about me, where I plan to specialize in the future, and what I have accomplished in my past through this portfolio. Until I get further along in my career when I can specialize more let me make it clear that I hope to work with a variety of clients and presenting problems, individually as well as with their families and spouses. Most people request only a resume. I invite you to continue and review more of my portfolio than just a resume, but here is my resume first, with a personal statement:
If you want to learn more about me, I invite you to review my current theory and practice of change, my "self of the therapist", and a research proposal I wrote in an area I hope to specialize:
My past performance shows that I have done well both in class and in practicum. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and received the presidential scholar award both years at Argosy University. I invite you to view a letter of recommendation from one of my class instructors, Doctor Adam Moore, and a copy of my strong end-of-year practicum performance review. You can also view the presidential scholar award I received for both years.
I am committed to doing well as a therapist, and eagerly seek for training beyond the University curriculum on my own. Some of the training I attended were Gottman level 1 training, the EFT externship with Rebecca Jorgensen and Scott Woolley, and three different training conferences. I include the level one certifications and one of the conferences here.
I have only been doing therapy for a short time, as a student in practicum, but long before I became an MFT graduate student, I did some freelance family life education. I taught parenting classes mostly, but there were a few others. I had a certification with NCFR for family life education.
Thank you for taking the time to review my portfolio!
